Nathaniel was born in Torrington, Connecticut. He and his mother, Elizabeth, lived in five states, before moving to Kauai, Hawaii, when he was three. They remained in Hawaii until he was ten. After that Nathaniel and his mother resided in San Diego, Los Angeles, New York and Los Angeles (again) before finally graduating from Beverly Hills High School. His film credits include "Love Is All There Is," "The Craft," "Ordinary Sinner" and most recently, "Ciao America." On television he was a series regular in "Matt Waters". Daytime audiences recognize Nathaniel as Eddie Silva on "As the World Turns", a role for which he received an Outstanding Male Newcomer Soap Opera Digest Award nomination. In his free time Nathaniel enjoyed writing, weight training, kickboxing and restoring classic American cars. In 2001, Nathaniel joined the cast of "One Life to Live" as Al Holden, only to receive a dual role as Michael McBain in 2003. He played the role of Michael until late November 2007, when he was fired from the show after being arrested for assault. Nathaniel was involved in a single car crash on October 30, 2015 in Reno, Nevada. He succumbed to his injuries and died on November 10, 2014 at the age of 40. Had he lived he would have been a quadriplegic and would have needed to remain permanently on a ventilator. Nathaniel is survived by his wife, Rita Bias, his mother, Elizabeth Jackson, his stepfather, Ali Martin Birtodaso, a brother and four half-siblings.
