Ned Bellamy was born in Dayton, Ohio to Bill and Nelle Bellamy on May 7, 1957. He grew up in Joplin, Missouri and moved to California. He attended the University of California at Los Angeles and founded a theater company called The Actors Gang with his classmates. It was in the late 1970s that Ned first began having television roles and then moved into film. He took on many roles, but have a flair for working in the horror/thriller and action genre of the business. He has been credited in over 90 acting roles in both television and film. Some of his notable television roles have been on Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles as Ed Winston, Castle as Logan Meech, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as Peter Carson, and The Closer as Mr. Schiller. Film credits include Tenacious D in the The Pick of Destiny, The Ice Harvest, Twilight, The Whole Ten Yards, Saw, Being John Malkovich, and Con Air.
