    Okay, when Nelly first came out I liked her a lot.  She was different.  But now she's become like many of the others.  It's kinda sad.  Sorry, but I think she sold out.  Am I the only one who sees this?  She conformed to the music standard.

    I totally agree with you. Even though I love her new song, I couldn't believe she was the one who was singing it... It sounds so much like hiphop which is something she wasn't into. And also the videoclip... OMG.. She's no longer the same. She became a commercial artist... Thats just too much of a change!

    Yeah.  I can get into the song cause it does remind me of Gwen Stefani, but the change is way too much.  It's sad really.

    She actually STARTED her career in hip-hop in a group called NelStar. She's not selling out - she just wanted to showcase more of her musical abilities. Listen to the whole CD before passing judgment. The industry is only going to release what it thinks will sell the most. There's plenty of the "Whoa! Nelly" and "Folklore" Furtado on the CD.
