    • Nicolas: (comparing himself to his character on "10 Things I Hate About You") I'm a little less naive when it comes to relationships. I'm not as nervous and scared of girls as Cameron is in the show. He has a really tough time knowing what to do, and he fails so many times. And Cameron is very academic - he's in the AV club, chess club, and plays in the marching band. I don't really dabble in too much of that.
    • Nicholas: (in an August 2009 interview) I don't have a girlfriend. But I think I want one right now, just to counter-balance all the work and being on the show. It would be nice to have someone to go back to, a girl to call at the end of the night after a long day.
    • Nicholas: (on being part of "Walater and Henry") It was a very dramatic role, which was tough, but the experience I had on that film was a special one. John Larroquette and James Coburn taught me a lot of things while working on that film. The Emmy nomination was unbelievable. I was really proud to be a part of that. And it was a cool way to kick off my career as an actor.
