Nigel Barker

Nigel's introduction to the fashion industry was during the 1980s when he appeared on a televised model search in England called The Clothes Show.

Nigel attended Bryanston where he achieved A-levels in Biology, Chemistry and Physics and planned to study medicine but decided to pursue a modeling career after his mother entered him into a televised model search where he was a finalist and fell in love with modeling. Nigel's love for modeling eventually evolved into photography and is now a world-renowned photographer.

As of 2006, Nigel resides in New York with his wife, Cristen, and his son, Jack.

Nigel has his own photographic studio called StudioNB in New York in which he launched in 1998.

Before becoming a fashion photographer Barker was a noted fashion model, modelling for fashion giants such as Giorgio Armani and Valentino.
