Nikki: Acting is the only thing I ever really wanted to do, and I'm really ill-prepared to do anything else.
-
Nikki: But then it reached the point where it became kind of odd. 'Thank you very much, but now would you listen to my jokes?'
-
Nikki: I just hope that my poor, sad character eventually ends up with Danny McCoy, who she's been pining after for her whole life.
-
Nikki: I think I'm as content as one can be.
-
Nikki: I'm a McDonald's girl - several times a week. Usually the two-cheeseburger combo meal.
-
Nikki: If I didn't have fake nails, my fingers would be bloody stumps.
-
Nikki: The only other thing that interested me as a kid was being a bricklayer. So if I hadn't become an actress, I would probably be a bricklayer.
-
Nikki: This is not what I want to do with my life, and I don't think it's the right way to a long-lasting career.
-
Nikki: We've had some really good guest stars. But I have to go with Alec Baldwin as my favorite. He is so neat and such a movie star. He's handsome and quirky. I was in heaven the week he was on the set.
-
Nikki: I'm hardly famous. I wouldn't want to trade places with anyone else.
-
Nikki: When all of a sudden, people say, 'Wow, you look nice,' and carry on, it's shocking. Really awkward.
-
Nikki: To be perfectly honest, drama is a lot simpler than comedy.
-
Nikki: There's a lot more room for error in drama. With comedy, if you mess up, you fall flat on your face. With drama there's a lot more room to play.
-
Nikki: Mary and I look eerily similar but other than that, the differences are pretty much night and day.
-
Nikki: I'm probably the most introverted extrovert you'll ever meet. Up until I got this show I was constantly told, 'She was really good, but she's just not cute enough.'
-
Nikki: I was really, really, really skinny. Great big mouth on a little face. Just goofy-looking. More goofy than I am now. Really goofy.
-
Nikki: I still don't know quite what I'm supposed to do or be.
-
Nikki: Filming scenes like that are always odd but I feel comfortable with Josh [Duhamel] and care about him a great deal, so it could be much worse. Scenes like that are just part of the job.
-
Nikki: But I'm not going to lie, there's a gross part of my ego that was terrifically flattered - a 16-year-old kid who all her life had been made fun of, when people say, 'You look nice,' of course you're going to feel good.
