    • Nina Hartley: (on people she would like to work with) Well, I'll never get Ginger Lynn or Jenna Jameson. I'd like Janine Lindemuller, Jesse Jaymes, both from Digital Playground. I'd love Jenna Haze, I know, and Flower Tucci. I want to work again with Bree Olson, as she's super hot!
    • Nina Hartley: (on free speech and expression) It's pretty cut and dry with me. Porn is legal to create, sell and possess. It's speech, pure and simple, and therefore is fully protected by the First Amendment. It doesn't matter that some people find it offensive. I find lots of speech out there offensive, but I've learned to live with it and to counter it with speech of my own. I think it should be kept away from minors but be fully available to adults who want it. The "morals" police could be better spending their time going after child abusers.
    • Nina Hartley: (on writing her book) I'm lucky in that my husband is an excellent, professional editor. I had the blank page, and had to come up with 5,000-6,000 words on each topic/chapter. He'd then do the first edit and give me some instructions and pointers. I'd address his notes and he'd do a final polish on that chapter and put it in the file. We did the whole book in just under a year, and didn't fight once! It was easy, as I have a lot to say on the subject!
