Noah is doing a new movie

TV stars join cast of film being shot in Baltimore
    People and Places

Alex Metcalf's original script for Boy of Pigs has proven a magnet for a white-hot cast: Noah Wyle, Dr. John Carter of ER, and Perrey Reeves, Mrs. Ari of Entourage, have joined the Baltimore-based indie. In this Kennedy-era coming-of-age story, they're playing the parents of a boy (Cameron Bright) who becomes obsessed with the ex-CIA-wife across the street (Gretchen Mol).
TV and movie veteran James Rebhorn, whose credits include Cold Mountain and Head of State, has also signed on to play a CIA operative, says producer Kevin Leydon.

The film started shooting this week in Bolton Hill and Mount Vernon, which are standing in for Washington's Georgetown neighborhood

I'm happy that he's still on the market

Noah Wyle booking more "Librarian" movies

By Marilyn Beck and Stacy Jenel Smith

Article Last Updated:11/08/2006 04:19:29 PM PST

If Noah Wyle has his way, he'll be back in character as the super geek-cum-intrepid adventurer in a franchise of TNT's "The Librarian" sagas even before the second one airs on Dec. 3.

The former "ER" star is reprising his role as Flynn Carson, the man put in charge of finding and keeping the world's greatest treasures in "The Librarian: Return to King Solomon's Mines," produced by "Independence Day" filmmaker Dean Devlin.

"TNT wants to see how this one goes before they greenlight the third one, but we've already written the script," reports Wyle. "And as far as the production team, Dean Devlin and myself are really excited about making as many as five of these if we can."

"Return to King Solomon's Mines" was shot on location in Africa, while the first was shot in Mexico.

When — and if — the next one is a go, he says, "We've talked about doing it in the States. I know we were interested in bringing some work down to New Orleans and thought we could probably do a good story down there. They have all those swamps and bayous.

"Supposedly the Fountain of Youth was there, and they've got all sorts of buried treasure because it was a big dumping ground for pirates who anchored off the coast." He adds, shooting in New Orleans, which is still recovering from Hurricane Katrina, "would be a good karmic turn for us, and I think we'd get a lot of bang for our buck as well."

I have only really heard of "The Librarian" on the internet.

Are they made for TV movies, or ones that have made it to the big screen? Or where have they been?.....Can they be rented from the video store?.....I just haven't really heard of them anywhere else except around other Wyle fans....

I'm not sure but I think you can rent or buy the first one in Canada

And yes they're TV Movies but it looks like they had a good foreign release

The first one was the highest rated movie shown on cable television for 2005.

    Royal helmer: Wyle directs 'Prince'

    Nov 28, 2006

Noah Wyle will make his directorial debut with "Prince Test," an indie romantic comedy being produced by Peter Sussman of Steppingstone Park, Arthur Sarkissian and Morris Levy. "Prince" centers on a female private investigator who uses unorthodox methods to check the fidelity of engaged or married men. The script was written by Rachel Weinhaus, a USC film school graduate, with a rewrite by J.P. Manoux. Production is set to begin in April in Chicago, with Dolphin Entertainment financing. The movie will mark the first foray into features for Dolphin, known for producing television series and telefilms. The executive producers are Dolphin's Bill O'Dowd and Winding Road's Barry Tropp and Michael Espensen. Wyle, repped by ICM, Brillstein-Grey and attorney Geoffrey Oblath, starred on NBC's "ER" since the show's inception in 1994, departing last season. He is starring in "The Librarian: Return to King Solomon's Mines," a sequel to TNT's popular adventure telefilm "The Librarian: Quest for the Spear."

DIRECTOR'S CUT: Former "ER" regular Noah Wyle reports he'll be making his feature film directorial debut in the spring.

"We raised money for a comedy called `The Prince Test' that, hopefully, will start in February," says Wyle, adding at this point he has no intention of starring in the film. "I don't want to trip myself up and wear too many hats. If there's a small little cameo part that will help get us distribution, then I'm not opposed to it. But at the moment I'm planning on casting all my friends who I've done favors for all these years ... call out my markers and get them all in. We don't have much money to work with, so we're trying to get the script to the place where that'll be what everybody's attracted to."

Wyle says "The Prince Test" is about a woman who runs a company that will find out if your true love is true. "If you're about to get married to a man and you wonder if he's your Prince Charming, you can hire this woman, and she will try to seduce your fianc and put him to `The Prince Test."' Unfortunately, says Wyle, the film's protagonist fails the test. "Then he has to get his woman back and also try to get retribution on the woman who ruined his relationship. It's sort of your `Boy loves girl. Boy loses girl. Boy fights to get girl back and actually ends up falling in love with somebody else' story."' Got that? Good.

    TNT Checks Out 'Librarian' Again
Noah Wyle returns for third chapter of movie series

The most mild-mannered action hero in TV history will be back on TNT late this year.

The cable network has begun production on the third installment of its "Librarian" franchise, with former "ER" star Noah Wyle reprising his title role. The movie, titled "The Librarian: The Curse of the Judas Chalice," is scheduled to premiere in late 2008.

Bob Newhart and Jane Curtin will reprise their roles as well, and Bruce Davison ("Knight Rider," "X-Men") and Stana Katic ("Heroes") will join the cast for the new film. Jonathan Frakes ("Star Trek: The Next Generation"), who helmed the second "Librarian" film, is also returning as director.

    The Hollywood Reporter

Noah Wyle has signed as the lead in TNT's untitled alien-invasion pilot, marking a reunion with producer Steven Spielberg.

The project, written by Robert Rodat from an idea he conceived with Spielberg, is set shortly after aliens have wiped out most of the human population. Wyle will play the leader of a ragtag group of soldiers and civilians who struggle against the occupying alien force.

"It is a privilege to be starting a second series with Noah," said Spielberg, whose company was behind "ER." "The first didn't do too badly."

TNT had been looking to extend into series its relationship with Wyle, whom TNT head of programming Michael Wright called "an incredibly talented actor and an extraordinary person."

Wyle has starred in 4 original films for the cable network: the "Librarian" action-adventure franchise, which spawned three movies, and "Pirates of Silicon Valley."

"I couldn't feel more at home," Wyle said. DreamWorks TV is producing the pilot, with Spielberg, Rodat, Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank executive producing.

I liked Noah until he did this ad for the WWF. http://tinyurl.com/yjtt4bt It is full of propagandist lies. Here are the facts. http://tinyurl.com/yjof8h8 Study a subject before you become a spokesman Noah! This makes you look bad. Truth and integrity are more important than money.
