Back in the car, Reed starts up with the story again, only to get called to a domestic disturbance of a husband and wife fighting over their five children, ending up with the women supposedly getting punched and cut with a knife. In the patrol car once again, Reed finishes his funny story only to have Malloy not laugh, which puzzles Reed. Then on a noisy party call, Reed discovers that being a cop won't always be easy when dealing with old friends.
