    • Oded is a hebrew name. It appears twice in the bible. It is the name of the father of the prophet Asarja and it is the name of a prophet who lived in the times of King Ahas. Oded has two meanings:
      1. He (God) has helped

      Oded's last name is of German origin. It goes back to the German word Fähre which means ferry.
