Oded Fehr

Oded is a hebrew name. It appears twice in the bible. It is the name of the father of the prophet Asarja and it is the name of a prophet who lived in the times of King Ahas. Oded has two meanings:

1. He (God) has helped

2. Encourages

Oded's last name is of German origin. It goes back to the German word Fähre which means ferry.

Oded credits his role on UC: Undercover for helping him break away from playing stereotypicial long haired, Arab speaking characters.

Oded has a younger half sister.

The director of The Mummy had the script rewritten so that Oded's character would survive for the sequel because Oded had such a striking screen presence.
