Oded Fehr grew up in Israel. At the age of 18, he joined Israel's Navy in which he served for 3 years. Upon completion of his time in the Navy, he moved to Frankfurt for 2 years to help his father in a business venture. Oded quickly decided the business was not for him. He was shortly there after accepted at the Bristol Old Vic theater school in London where he studied for 3 years. During his time at the Bristol Old Vic Theater School, Oded participated in a local production of David Mamet’s Sexual Perversity in Chicago.
Oded met Rhonda Tollefson (Finding Forrester producer) at the Lost Angles Opera. They were married on December 22, 2000.
Oded has one older brother, one older sister and a younger half sister. Currently, he lives in Santa Monica, California. He is a big supporter of the Kids Cancer Connection charity.
