Biography:

Polish-born UK/US-based actress Olga Sosnovska is perhaps best known as the MI6 spy Fiona Carter on the BBC action drama Spooks and the lesbian corporate spy Lena Kundera on the daytime soap All My Children. Although she was born in Wielun, Poland, Olga, who was then 11 years old, and her family moved to England to avoid the tumultuous conditions in their homeland. After they got settled, she immediately got into a drama club, which aided her in learning English more quickly.

In 1999, the 26-year-old actress made her first appearance on British television with a guest spot in the episode, "Sons, Part Two" of the ITV police drama The Vice. That year, Olga also married American actor Sendhil Ramamurthy. And as her acting career was just picking up momentum in 2001, with a starring role in the six-part series Take Me, she moved from London to New York in support of her husband's career.

It may have been a bit of a blessing, as she got her first major career break on American television when she was cast as AMC's Lena, whose character became popular for her controversial same-sex kiss with Bianca Montgomery. While living in New York, Sosnovska also got gigs on Law & Order: Criminal Intent and Law & Order, both in 2003. She then moved back to London to as she was introduced as the wife of MI6-turned-MI5 agent Adam Carter (played by Rupert Penry-Jones) during the 3rd season of Spooks. In 2007, Olga guest-starred as the Russian daughter of an abductee in Criminal Minds and got the chance to work in the star-studded Hollywood hit Ocean's Thirteen. The following year, she appeared on the 3rd chapter of her husband's show, Heroes.
