Welcome Hari! Great tip! I have to check that movie out. I made a quick web search and it looks very interesting.
Huff has two seasons with a total of 26 episodes. It is about this successful psychiatrist Huff who is handling high class cases. Due to a bad experience he enters a midlife crisis. There is his wife and son, his mother-in-law, his mentally challenged brother and his best friend Russell (Oliver Platt). Russell is pretty much addicted to everything with a self destructive lifestyle. Surprisingly, he is also a very successful lawer with some questionable work ethics. He would do anything for Huff and their friendship is beautiful to watch. The show can be shocking at times (Showtime, after all, there are the obligatory curse words and some sexual taboos are broken) but I love the characters and I can relate to the topics. It is about friends and family, you may hate them sometimes, but you love them after all. it is about being there for each other, dealing with the mother-in-law, compromises as to career and children and so on. It is hard for me to go into detail why I love it without spoiling you
. The show wasn't incredibly successful but it got some critical acclaim. I tried to find a youtube clip but there are hardly any and the adorable Russell clip that I found is extremely spoiling. I'd just say watch one episode and decide then. It is very different from VM or Supernatural. It is just a feeling that you might like it. The tone is perhaps comparable to Six Feet Under. It is a character driven show and if you like them, you like the show. *hugs*
And your signature will be Logan, soon, am I right or am I right? Already curious!
