Oscar: It never feels like I'm working in an office. It's all make-believe and the rest of your life reminds you that you're not in an office, and that you're on this big television show. [edit]
Oscar: (On the success of "The Office") Our fans are fanatical about our show, and I think it's like the Seinfeld of its day. [edit]
Oscar: (on the season 3 premiere of "The Office", where he got kissed by two of his co-stars) It was a wonderful experience. I did a couple of takes, but I didn't know Steve Carell was going to kiss me. When I looked over, everyone was looking down and hiding their faces, laughing. [edit]
Oscar: (on what he does during downtime at "The Office" set) I'm acting as I'm working. I'm playing solitaire or reading or working on set. I'm not computer savvy. I don't care about the MySpace thing. I still use scroll and parchment. [edit]
Oscar: (about working on "The Office") It never feels like I'm working in an office. It's all make-believe and the rest of your life reminds you that you're not in an office, and that you're on this big television show. [edit]
Oscar: (on what he wishes to happen to his character in "The Office"; 2006 interview) I trust the writers. They are great writers. If the flow continues and it continues to be funny, then it's fine with me whether I have one line or whatever. I love what they have done with him so far. I'm totally open. [edit]
Oscar: (the show being "The Office") I am gay on the show, but I don't play Oscar gay. I know many gay people. Some of them are straighter than me, and I'm straight. People are people. [edit]
Oscar: (on mixing up the character and real names on "The Office" set) You know I just think that's me because I have the beginning of Alzheimer's, even though I'm nowhere near there agewise. Seriously, that's just me. I just forget names! [edit]
Oscar: (on working with great directors on "The Office") Unbelievable! I got to meet J.J. Abrams! Joss Whedon, got to meet him. It's just amazing - Harold Ramis. And the best part is, the guys I mentioned, they're all sweethearts. [edit]
Oscar: I'm pretty good at keeping a straight face. Steve [Carell] has made me break a handful of times during the season, but that wasn't one of them. [edit]
