Pamela Salem's first work in "Doctor Who" was as one of the voices of the computer god, Xoanon in "The Face of Evil". (1977). In the next story, "The Robots of Death," she portrayed Toos, whose elaborate headdress was only one of many impracticalities aboard the doomed Storm Mine 4. In an addition to a season in "Eastenders" (1988-89), she was a regular in the sitcom "French Fields" (1989-91), which also featured Nicholas Courtney.
