I remember Saturday afternoons in the 40s sitting in the West End Theater watching Gene and Pat catch the bad guys. Gene did it with charm, wit, fists and a gun. Pat did it was comedy. He facial expressions were always funny, his prat-falls classic, his accordian playing just so-so, but great fun.

I am still watching the Gene Autry movies on MoviPlex today and I am still entertained by Pat's antics. His "falls" were always funny. His up-and-down voice antics were the greatest. I have not heard anyone else do that.

Pat could play just about any musical instrument. He was unique, funny, serious and an all-round entertainer.

He was a great talent. He lives on in my memory.
