Patricia Arquette

I really do not get this woman, after watching Medium, I thought she was a terrible actor, but yet she was nominated for and won an Emmy, did the voting comitee see something I didn't?



In a game where connections are everything, it makes me wonder if her last name had anything to do with success? Because honestly I have seen better acting in a year 8 drama class.



Based on her ability as an actor I believed that she had the odds stacked against her in this years Emmy awards up against the likes of fellow NBC actress Marsika Hargitay. But obviously what I consider acting talent is very different to what the critics consider. But then again, they considered James Spader better than Hugh Laurie.

Patricia Arquette plays Alison Dubois a Medium on the hit show Medium.

I love her acting and she even has some kind of beauty about her as well.

Patricia has done some movies but mostly she is famous for Medium.

So all in all Patricia Arquette is a wonderful woman and a talanted actress.

i find it odd you would say she\'s riding on the family name when in fact shes by far been the most successful. david may have been in the public eye due to his marriage to courtney but artisticly patricia eclipses him and even rosanna.

OMG .. Patricia A is sooo bad at acting. If this was cast with someone with some talent it would have been great. Jake Webber is superb and so are all the kids and all the side actors. She is soo soo soo fake .. am I the only one who thinks so? Common ... didn't the producers realize this?? I mean have you seen that woman start to cry?? I just stop the TV .. take a deep breath and fast forward the crying scene every time ... it is so annoying.
The story line is superb and all the supporting actors are great!!. This woman should NEVER act again .. she is that bad!! she got worse over the seasons as well. I know that the story is supposed to support her intution ... but every time she tries to convince about something I just want to run away and never look at the show.
Please recast this woman with someone with even minimal talent and have medium show again. I will NEVER ever put myself through the torture watching Patricia A again ... I just loved the story line and Jake Webber so much that I suffered through Medium even with this freaking annoying woman!!!

I think Patricia Arquette is a beautiful, unique, outstanding actress. I love everything about her! So soft spoken and just beautiful. I LOVE her on Medium! I personaly only seen her in the movie "Holes" and that's it. I hear she was outstanding in "True Romance". "Lost Highway", "Little Nicky" (?) and some othe ones. But I've seen every episode of Medium and she is a wonderful actress. I think that she should have won more awards for her role on Medium. She has had a few of nominations, but instead she only won one in 2005... -_-. She deserves way more! :)

i love Patricia Arquette. i have seen her in a few things, but it is the nbc show "Medium" that she really sticks out in. "Medium" used to be on monday nights, but then it was moved to wednesday nights. patricia arquette is, in my opinion, one of the greatest actresses on tv. it is easier to do a movie because you dont have to know your character as much as if you did a regular series. you only do a move once, but you could end up doing a tv show for many seasons. patricia knows her character, Allison DuBois, inside and out. i love watching "Medium" on wednesdays. now "Medium" fits into my schedeule better than when it was on monday nights. speaking of "Medium" it is on in a few days. Capt. Push is coming back! i cant wait!

I have been a fan of Ms. Arquette since I saw her in Nightnmare On Elm Street 3 and she has gotten better and better ever since. I especially love Lost Highway & True Romance. Who could forget the closing line in True Romance, "Through everything, three little words kept running through my head. You're So Cool."



I was very surprised when I heard that she was going to do a TV show about a physcic crime fighter. The first thing that came to my mind was this. I hope she has found a project that is worthy of her, not just a steady paycheck.

Thankfully Medium is a great show.



Let's hope that NBC will stop shuffling this great show around and keep it on the schedule for a long time.

I think that word says it all. I have never really liked anything I have seen her in, and from the bits of her show that I have seen (Medium), she comes across vapid and emotionless... does her voice change pitch ever. Maybe I just need to watch more, but I can't stand watching her for 5 minutes, so how would I ever be able to sit through an entire show. I just have a strong objection to female actresses who come across as air heads, riding on looks or big boobs or whatever reason they were given a crappy show.

To really hit her stride! Finally out of the shadows of not just Rosanna and David but also her ex-husband Nicolas Cage!

Patricia Arquette is a really good actress. I have only really seen her in Holes, Little Nicky and Medium (AWESOME show!!!!). `In Holes, she played the school teacher, and she played Kissin' Kate...and she did really good on the southern accent. Not many people can really do that. And in Medium...you can tell that she is really trying to bring that role to life...which she does. Really well. She is the mother of three, while trying to sort through the dreams...and the visions she has. I don't think any other Arquette...let alone another person could do these roles. In Little Nicky...she is some of a dork...but she plays it well (not saying she is or anything...but she takes on the role well)
