    Sad new today out of Hollywood. Patrick Swayze died today at home surrounded by his family. He was 57.

    I just caught the news. I know that a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer rarely turns out well, but it seemed like he was going to beat it. It's so sad...

    i just wanted to show my respects to a great actor. this year has had a lot of celebrity deaths- but this one is upsetting to me more than any.
