Paul Savage began his Hollywood career in 1947 as a bit actor. However, shortly after getting his first story approved in 1957, he left acting behind and concentrated on an impressive 35-year-long writing career (1957-1991). In all, Paul wrote for some 57 different television shows, including regular work on Laramie, Gunsmoke and Murder, She Wrote.
