Pauley Perrette: (On her marriage to Michael Bosman) We're calling the wedding a celebration of love, of how much we love each other and how much we appreciate those who have shown us so much support and love in our journey together.
Pauley Perrette (speaking in Dec, 2008 on looking younger than she is): It's weird. Right now, it's not possible for me to play my age. I tried to get somebody to send me in to play a lawyer and they were like, 'Are you kidding me?' I can't get a beer without my drivers' license.
Pauley Perrette: I would've loved to be a cop or an FBI agent, but I'm not very brave and I can't tell when people are lying, so that's out.
Pauley Perrette: I grew up in the Deep South, where sexism, racism, and homophobia were and still are alive and well. I have early, early memories of words and actions of this type being very painful. I tried to befriend people that were different than me and learn and love them...to send the message that you are OK, and loved and perfect, even though they were surrounded by bigotry.
Pauley Perrette (speaking out against California's Proposition 8 which same-sex marriages): For all those 'Christians' out there who think they are doing the Lord's work with their campaign of hate and intolerance, I'm a Christian, churchgoing, Bible-quoting, praying, thinking civil rights activist, and I support gay rights and civil rights for all. Bring it on; I'm ready.
Pauley Perrette (on her NCIS character's real appeal): I think part of it is that she's super smart. I want to be her when I grow up. She's certainly not your typical one-dimensional anything: scientist, alternative person or genius. She's like the girl next door - in chains and a choker collar.
Pauley Perrette (On her NCIS character, Abby): Abby's great! Abby's my idol! I want to be her when I grow up.
Pauley Perrette: My whole goal was to be able to work in television and film and maintain a normal life, never be in a tabloid.
Pauley Perrette: I know everything about her, Elizabeth Short. I've been obsessed with crime since I was a little kid, and I've been studying as if someone assigned me that case for years and years, since the first time I saw the crime scene photo.
Pauley Perrette: There is no telling what is going to happen in the music business in the next few years, hours, minutes, seconds. Giving artists the chance to produce and distribute their own material is great, very empowering. The technological changes that are happening so rapidly now, amongst all the opinions, are in truth, only two things, inevitable and unstoppable.
Pauley Perrette: I love working with new directors. There's so much drive and effort. It still comes down to the character for me, but if it's a character I really want to play, I would never not do the project because of a new director.
Pauley Perrette: I was a bartender in New York and I overheard this girl saying she made $3000 doing a commercial. A kid at work told me, 'Hey, I know this director and he'd really like you!'. So I walked into this guy's office and was like 'I was thinking maybe I could make $3000' and he hired me for commercials, short films, like 15 jobs in a row.
Pauley Perrette: I ended up in college by accident. Everything in my life, I ended up in by accident. I was down south in this high school doing whatever. It could just not contain me. I quit school and took off and traveled around. Nobody knew where I was I just couldn't handle it anymore. It was a big scandal, I was gone. I left.
Pauley Perrette: I'm a big fan of [James] Ellroy. The reason I got turned onto him is because I've been obsessed with the Black Dahlia case forever and ever.

Pauley Perrette: I think that the very best and most important part of the show, that's gonna stick with people is going to be the fact that Mark Harmon is so dreamy.
