NCIS star Pauley Perrette was born in New Orleans and moved 14 times as a child when her father's job took the family all over the country. A huge fan of education and forensic science, Perrette graduated college with Honors - receiving her Master's Degree in Criminology. She also studied Sociology and Psychology before moving to New York City to pursue acting. Working at a number of jobs, including bartending, photography and as a hair and make-up stylist, Perrette eventually found work in commercials and music videos that led to more substantial acting roles.

On television, Perrette had a recurring role on Murder One and appeared as Drew Carey's girlfriend in The Drew Carey Show, as well as playing the girlfriend of Diego on the series Jesse. Her other television credits include guest starring roles on Frasier, Early Edition, and Moloney.

Perrette's film credits include the independent films The Price of Kissing and Angel. She is also a singer and released her first CD last year. In addition, she has started her own independent record company, GO Records. Perrette resides in Los Angeles.

Perrette recorded her song, "Fear" (co-written with Tom Polce) under the name "Stop Making Friends". The song was recorded for "NCIS: The Official TV Soundtrack" which was released on February 10, 2009.

Pauley was married to her longtime boyfriend, Michael Bosman, on Valentine's Day 2009 in Hollywood. She was previously married to actor and musician Coyote Shivers from 2000-2004.

Perrette served as a backstage scene reporter at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards in 2011.
