Peter Bowles

His youngest daughter is artist Sasha Bowles.

He was offered the role of Jerry Leadbetter (opposite his 'To The Manor Born' co-star Penelope Keith) in 'The Good Life' but turned it down because he was signed up to appear in a play at the same time. He later discovered that he could have done both as Richard Briers was also in the play he was doing.
