Peter Boyle

Peter was nominated for nine SAG awards. He was nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series in 1998, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006, winning in 2003. He was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series in 2002 and 2004. All nominations were for his work on the show Everybody Loves Raymond.

Passed away on Tuesday December 12th,2006 from multiple myeloma and heart disease. He was 71 years old.

Peter has been married to Loraine Alterman Boyle since 1977 and have two children.

Deceased "Beatle" John Lennon was the best man at Boyle's wedding to Alterman in 1977. Boyle and Lennon were very good friends and knew each other because their wives, Lorraine Alterman and Yoko Ono respectively, knew each other through Alterman's job at "Rolling Stone".

Boyle is married to Lorraine Alterman, a reporter for "Rolling Stone". They have 2 daughters, Amy and Lucy.
