    • [On 'The Station Agent']
Peter Dinklage: Somebody asked me, 'Is this the role of your lifetime?' I go, 'Well, for now.'

    • Peter Dinklage: I don't like people being cautious and tentative and choosing their words carefully around me because I'm a dwarf. There are a lot of people in a lot worse shape than me. I'm 4'5" and it's part of who I am, just not the whole part. I guess the word to call me is my name, Pete.

    • [On doing his stunt work on Oz]
Peter Dinklage: I was held from a 12-story building by my ankle, it's the only stunt I've ever done. I didn't get much sleep the night before.

    • [On making a film with his friends, and if he considers it work]
Peter Dinklage: No, it is work. I don't want to make it out like it was like camp or something. You've got to be professionals about it. It's not hard work. There's people digging coal mines, you know. It's fun hanging out with your friends and making a movie. I'm sorry, but it is. Actors who say it's so grueling. I don't know. There's worse things.

    • [On his wedding and what he thinks about them]
Peter Dinklage: I eloped. I think weddings are beautiful, but man, they can become the event itself. You don't get to see your bride or groom in all the melee. And it costs so much money to get married. But I think they're beautiful. But we just decided to save a buck, I guess. We got hitched in Vegas. And I'm very private about that stuff. I can't believe I just told you all that.

    • [On if he has any pets]
Peter Dinklage: I'm a Supporter of PETA but no pets right now. I'm a big animal lover, and I'm trying to convince my wife to get a puppy, just some mutt on death row in the pound who's on his last legs, none of that pet store pure-bred stuff. I'd just get a little doggie that needs a home.

    • Peter Dinklage: I've done roles that aren't written for somebody who's a dwarf, ... I think it's just bad writing if you're constantly reminding the audience I am one. There I am, I'm on screen. I'm under 5 feet tall. Why would you have to be reminding the audience left and right?

    • Peter Dinklage: Every job leads to the next open door, hopefully, ... The good thing The Station Agent did, if anything, it allowed people to think outside the box about someone my size in what some people considered a leading-man role, which nobody had seen before. That's not why I did it. I loved the part and the people involved.

    • [When asked about his height of 4' 5"]
Peter Dinklage: When I was younger, definitely, I let it get to me. As an adolescent, I was bitter and angry and I definitely put up these walls. But the older you get, you realize you just have to have a sense of humor. You just know that it's not your problem. It's theirs.

Peter is the only reason why I watch Threshold! He is by far the best actor on the show. Plus he is so adorable and handsome! I have seen him in other venues but never really paid attention until now. I am so happy that the powers that be put him on this show. Maybe it\'s because most women like the \"bad boys\". I dunno know?
