  • I respected him on Sports night, and loved that shw but every show he has been on since has been the same, and it seems like they all have been horrible shows, at least the last two were.

He never has been that great of an actor to begin with, even with sports night it wasn't great acting it was great writing that made that show good. Now all he does is shows with liberal progpaganda anyways, I thought he was smart but it doesn't seem too smart to play the same type of guy all the time or to force your beliefs on people. I expect it from him and ABC so I guess this show is a good fit for the both of them. I obviously won't be watching it because it also doesn't interest me, not just because of the other stuff the story doesn't sound like something I would be interested in.
  • My favorite TV actor

I've seen his work on Sports Night, half of Six Feet Under so far, and the first season of Dirty Sexy Money. He's just brilliant. He should have won the Emmy for the seasons of SFU I've seen thus far, and probably for the two seasons I haven't yet seen. In both SFU and Sports Night he does a wonderful job of balancing and mixing comedic acting and dramatic. He looks to be continuing in that tradition on his new show.

He, along with Lauren Graham, who happens to be one of my very favorite TV actresses, is the main reason I'm turning into Parenthood. I hope it does well. I'd really like to see him get the wide recognition he deserves.
  • Peter Krause..very very sexy, and has had a great influence/impact on me. hes one of the reasons i'm getting into acting.

sorely underrated. he deserves more credit! and hes funny. i could totally get along well with him. six feet under was a great show, as well as sports night and dirty sexy money. still have yet to see his various movie roles and tv show roles. i've done many video tributes, which can be seen at http://www.youtube.com/melody10120 anyway! peter if you read this at all..just want you to know you're a very nice man, and a great father. very rare combo. and if you're in the SF area, you and i could play video games and eat oreos. =)
  • Nate Fisher on Six Feet Under, Nick George on Dirty Sexy Money.

I know Peter Krause from Six Feet Under and Dirty Sexy Money. He played both character flawlessly.

Of course, his performance on SFU cannot even be mentioned on the same page as DSM, but that's due to the writing.

The emotional range he displayed on SFU is similiar to what the other main character(Michael C Hall) had to pull off.

My favourite performance of his has to be his fear of death. He pulled it off incredibly realistic. It didn't even cross my mind at that time that it's just a TV show, not reality.

Also, there's one big thing going for him. His charm. He's just so.... entertaining to watch. Much like my favourite actor Michael Emerson. He could read a phone book and I would still enjoy the performance.
  • Peter Krause truly knows how to make a character become real.

When Peter Krause was in high school, he was a skilled track and field athlete and had a pole vaulting injury that ended his athletic career. He became interested in theatre and transferred to New York University and enrolled in the Master of Fine Arts program. He met Aaron Sorkin who was a writer. As a result, he went on to work on Sports Night created by Sorkin. In my opinion, Peter Krause is one of the greatest actors that has ever lived. From what I can see in Six Feet Under, he truly knows how to make a character become real. He plays "Nate Fisher" perfectly and that part has become his signature role. He has become my favorite character on Six Feet Under because the character is so real, as if I know him in real life. Krause is very talented and makes himself so convincing.

Words can't really describe this actor when it comes to his performance in drama. He prooved this in "Six Feet Under" prooving that he could be aggressive (yelling) and conservative (calm) in any scene that the writers asked him to do. I dont think he will ever have a role better then nate Fisher on Six Feet Under, but Im very excited to have him back on TV with Dirty Sexy Money. A show that I would likely not watch if it had anyone else in the main cast other then Peter Krause, he prooves he still has what it takes to be one of the best drama actors on television. His performance on Six Feet Under cnanot be mentioned enough in my review, it truly was one of the greatets acting performances of our time.
  • Peter Krause is a phenominal actor and is best known for his perfect depiction of "Nate Fischer" on Six Feet Under. Both he and his character will be missed now that the show has ended, but all of his fans will be awaiting his next move. He's a genius.

Peter Krause is best known for his starring role on Six Feet Under, but has been in many other works. As "Nate Fischer," one of the heirs to a funeral home. He never dreamt of a life back at home running the funeral home as a funeral director, but finds himself back there once his father is killed in a car accident. He shares the business with his brother, "David," and later on, associate, "Rico." He embraces it the best way he can, but will never find happiness until his last two days to live. He is troubled with love and can't seem to get it right. Peter portrayed this character so perfectly that it was hard to believe he was acting. He has the ability to grasp the attention of the audience while making them become involved in "Nate's" life. By the time the show ended...people "mourned" the loss of "Nate" and his family. All of the actors were able to make the audience feel like they knew them, but Peter has an enormous talent and everyone will be anxiously waiting until he is seen in anything else. I personally deeply regret seeing "Nate" go, but I deeply regret seeing Peter go even more. Peter Krause is an absolute genius and knows exactly how to get inside a character until it appears he has become that character.
