He starred in the 1995 movie Jungleground with three other actors from Stargate SG-1: Torri Higginson (Dr. Elizabeth Weir), JR Bourne (Martouf), and Lexa Doig (Dr. Carolyne Lam).

He plays the longest running villain in the Stargate universe.

He has a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Archeology.

He attended Nottingham University in England.

So he wouldn't have to shave his head again for his brief appearance in the Stargate SG-1 episode "Moebius", the headdress that Apophis is wearing was specially designed to cover up his hair.
