Phillip Schofield

Phillip enjoys the sports Tennis and Scuba Diving.

Phillip hosted the live coverage of the Nelson Mandela 90th Birthday Concert on ITV1 on the 25th June 2008.

Alongside Fern Britton the revised the classic 70's television show Mr and Mrs.

When Phillip is not doing This Morning John Barrowman is his stand in host.

Phillip has not always done presenting work, he also did a stint in the theatre playing Joseph in Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat and Dr Dolittle in Dr Dolittle.

In May 2008 Phillip lost his Father to a heart attack and so took a fortnight break from This Morning.

Phillip Schofield was rugby tackled by Fruitbat from Carter USM in front of millions of television viewers at the children's music awards TV show Smash Hits Poll Winners Party in 1991.

While hosting Childrens BBC, Phillip Schofield would encourage viewers at home to sing along to the closing credits of various cartoons they would show. They would even include the lyrics scrolling across the bottom of the screen. Phillip would sing as well as Gordon the Gopher and crew members in the broom cupboard.

Phillip recently celebrated his silver anniversary of being on television - with clips on This Morning of the many shows he has presented.

After going grey at a earlier age he tried to dye is hair but gave up and is now happy to show of that he is grey.

Schofield like many celebrities was gunged on Noel's House Party however he had the misfortune to be gunged not once but twice.

In July 2006 Phillip signed to ITV for two years a contract which doesn't allow him to work for other broadcasting channels until the two years is up.

Phillip's height is 5'9".

Phillip regularly presented Test the Nation for the BBC along with Anne Robinson but was replaced by Danny Wallace in 2006.

At 19 Schofield emmigrated with his family to New Zealand before returning 3 years later.

He joined This Morning in 2002.

Married to Stephanie Lowe, they have two children called Ruby and Molly.
