Rachel Curtis was born on January 24, 1986 in Derbyshire, England. She is the youngest child and the only daughter of Richard Curtis. Because of her father's job, she was accustomed to traveling back and forth between the US and England. When her oldest brother Charles moved to their Beverly Hills home at the age of 14 to pursue his studies, Rachel decided that she too would move. While her brother attended Berkeley Prep School, her father arranged for her governess to home school her.

… More at the time) decided to pursue modeling. She moved to Washington DC, where her father arranged for her to model for Tommy Hilfiger. There, she met her best friend, fellow Tommy Hilfiger model Danielle Faurot.

At age of 16, Rachel ended her contract with Tommy Hilfiger. She convinced her parents to let her go to a public school in the US. Her parents thus arranged for her to move in with her Aunt Emily in Fairfield, CT. Halfway through her junior year, Rachel transferred to Fairfield High School. That same year, Rachel's brother James graduated from Eton College and was accepted to UCLA.

With her brother moving to LA for college, Rachel has decided to spend her senior year in LA, where she attended Berkeley Prep School. In January 2004, halfway through her senior year, Rachel decided to transfer back to Fairfield High School and graduate there. However, her plans were shattered when her brother James was reportedly injured in a car crash the following month. Rachel decided to move back to their Beverly Hills home to stay with her brother throughout his rehabilitation. She finished her classes online and transferred her credits to Fairfield High School. When her brother moved to England to continue his physical theraphy, Rachel alongside. Rachel currently plans to attend UCLA with her brother James or the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.

    She's going out with Jackson Rathbone from ABC Family's Beautiful People. hide show

    Her dad is like the producer Richard Curtis. She got a yacht for her birthday and she's going out with one of the hottest new guys on TV. She seems spoiled and high maintenance to me. A total diva in the making if you ask me, and her dad had just sponsored her new movie, Prince Ali. We'll see if she has the talent her dad has.
