I read in Globe Magazine that Regis is retiring from the TV world in May and I would love to know if the rumor is true? When I read this story I was really shocked and so upset because Regis Philbin was my crush and it would be really upsetting to me if he really retired, Tiki
I had to laugh at Regis' story of his sneeze attacks. My husband gets them as well, however, they don't come at a time when he's at a restaruant or eating, he gets them when he thinks he's going to be having (how shall I put this nicely) intimate relations. He'll sneeze literally for minutes. I… More never counted the number of times, but it's up there. Drives me CRAZY! I would love to hear the dr's diagnosis on that one. LOL
A few minutes ago I happened to see a new commercial for Advil which starred who else but Regis Philbin and it appears that Regis is the new spokeman for Advil. With Regis retiring from Live With Regis And Kelly do you think that he will be a commercial star in the future. I think so, Tiki

Television is not gonna be the same without Regis Philbin after he retires. His Live show with Kelly Rippa will never be the same after he departs. He was quite a guy--from talk show host to game show host to...wrestler! I mean, he was a multi-talented man. Sob, sob. Regis's life is, well, in his words, "Outta control!"
I really admire Regis Philbin. From what I've seen from him, he looks like a very natural, nice person. His talk show is good and he always takes over the show with his comedy and his personality. He probably is a throwback to the old days of television and can be compared to Dick Clark and Bob Hope. He was good in Who wants to be a Millionaire. He made the show interesting and added plenty to the show. I also think he is good on paid programming. No matter what he is doing, he seems to have the same bright personality and can make you laugh. Thank you.

Without regis there would be no good millaire game show. With out him Live with regis and Kelly would not be the same. To me along with the acts and the judges he made americas got talet someting. Right now he belive the person with the most hours on air.
I'd never really had an opinion of Regis, but in watching America's Got Talent (the two episodes featuring Leonid the Magnificent), I was very disappointed in him. I felt he was distancing himself as much as possible from Leonid as a performer, simply from what I interpreted to be homophobia. I felt he was harsher with his jokes and acted more macho around him than usual, and I think it was because he was very uncomfortable around a 7' tall man in platform heels and an angel costume. I felt it was unprofessional behavior. If you're truly an industry great like people say Regis is, you should be able to overcome those feelings and not let them show and treat everyone equally, which he did not.
