I read in Globe Magazine that Regis is retiring from the TV world in May and I would love to know if the rumor is true? When I read this story I was really shocked and so upset because Regis Philbin was my crush and it would be really upsetting to me if he really retired,

Actually, tomorrow will be the day when Regis will really be saying goodbye to his record-breaking TV career. I am currently watching a special edition of 2020 called "Regis Philbin: The Morning Maiestro" on ABC. The Live show just won't be the same without Regis after tomorrow. I sure am going to miss that guy. He was such an experienced multi-talented guy. I don't know if I can bare his final appearance.

He's retiring from Live and likely regular television appearances, although I would expect him to still make occasional appearances. I don't expect him to take on another regular series but I wouldn't be surprised for him to host a TV special or awards show. Something that doesn't require a big commitment.

TV.com really has missed the mark on this one. His retirement is as big as Carson's yet they have no article about it. Just because it's morning TV doesn't mean it's not as important.

I think now that Regis Philbin has retired from Live With Regis And Kelly that he will be a commercial star and his talent really shows in the Advil commercials that he is the spokesman for. I also think that Regis will expand his commercial talent by becoming a celebrity pitchman {Kind of like the late Billy Mays} by endorsing As Seen On TV products in the future.,

    What do you think,
