Rhonda Fleming was a stunning red-head with a figure guaranteed to put men in agony. Movie stars just don't look like this any more. The ideal for women today seems to be the skinnier the better. Rhonda had a full, luscious figure-and she seemed pleased to strut her stuff. Rhonda was also more than capable as an actress. Rhonda Fleming is particulary beautiful in "Slightly Scarlet" (photographed by John Alton), opposite John Payne and Arlene Dahl. Some of Rhonda's scenes in the movie look like they inspired the best of trashy pulp novel covers. Rhonda Fleming was one of film's great beauties, and one of the great femme fatales.
