Ric Flair and WWE parted ways on August 3, 2008.

In March of 2008 Flair was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame!

Flair attended Wayland Academy, a coeducational boarding school in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin.

Ric Flair won the WWF Championship for the first time at the 1992 Royal Rumble. He won the Royal Rumble Match to win the vacant WWF Championship.

Flair's entrance music is the "Dawn" section of "Also Sprach Zarathustra" by Richard Strauss.

Flair's signature move is the Figure-Four Leglock.

As of November, 2006 Flair is the 13th of only 18 wrestlers overall to be "Triple Crown Champion". Wrestlers earn this by winning all three of the most prestigious belts in wrestling. The belts usually are the heavyweight belt, tag team belt and one other belt.

Flair won the 1992 "Royal Rumble" for the WWF/WWE.

Flair played offensive and defensive guard on the Golden Gopher's junior varsity for the University of Minnesota.

In 2006 Flair was inducted into the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame.

Flair is the only wrestler to win the World Championship belts of the WWF, NWA and WCW.

Flair missed a match he was scheduled to wrestle at to attend a wrestling tournament his son Reid was participating in. He was fired from WCW for his absence and fans boycotted WCW for a while.

Flair has four children. From his first wife, Leslie Goodman, he has Meegan and David. He and his second wife, Elizabeth, have Ashley and Reid.

Flair made his professional wrestling debut on December 10, 1972, in Rice Lake, Wisconsin.

Flair is 6'1".

Flair is a fan of hockey, particularly the Carolina Hurricanes. When the Hurricanes score a goal during home games a video appears on the Jumbotron and Flair is heard to say, "That's a Carolina Hurricanes Goal! Wooo! Wooo Wooo!"

The biggest audience in wrestling history attended the "International Sports and Cultur Festival for Peace" in 1995. The event was held outdoors in Pyongyang, North Korea. Flair participated in the event, wrestling Antonio Inoki. The crowd was estimated to be over 190,000. Flair lost.

Flair wont the "NWA World Heavyweight Championship" on September 17, 1981 in a match against Dusty Rhodes. It was the first time he won the title.

Ric survived a plane crash on October 4, 1975 in Wilmington, North Carolina. He suffers from back injuries that he got in the crash.

Ric Flair was adopted and raised by his cousin.

As of 2006 he is currently married to Tiffany VanDemark. His best man was former Evolution stablemate Triple H.

Flair formed the original Four Horsemen in 1986 with Ole and Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard, managed by James J. Dillon.

In 1967, Flair was a high school state heavyweight champion in Wisconsin.
