    • Rica has appeared as a guest on a few radio shows in the past including Heartful Station on May 2, 1997; Shiny Night on September 13, 1997; Pokemon Hour on February 22, 1998; Hatsu Warai Shinshun Seiyuu Daishuugou on January 1, 1999 and Anime Kouhaku -Kanzen Hozonban Special on December 31, 1999.

    • On the TV anime Mama wa Poyopoyo-Saurus ga Osuki, Rica performed the 2nd ending theme entitled "Spicy Life". This song ended episodes #31-52.

    • Rica used to be a personality on 2 of her own radio shows in the past. The two shows were Saturday Hot Request and Kimi no Heart wo Get Daze.

    • Rica doesn't have a favorite male talent, but the types of guys she likes are those that are kind.

    • Rica admits that she's horrible at tongue twisters.

    • On the 4 episode OAV Phantom Quest Corp., Rica performed the opening theme "That's You-Gen-Kai-Sha" and the ending theme "Mahiru no Tokai".

    • On the 4 episode OAV Bakuen Campus Guardress, Rica performed the 2nd ending theme "Love Diary".

    • Rica has voiced characters in several Japanese video games including Mizuki in Shinsetsu Samurai Spirits Bushido Retsuden, Souma Akio in Meguri Aisite, Asahina Mutsuki in Haunted Junction, Takizawa in Doki Doki Pretty League and Tachibana Reika in the Su-chi-pai series.

    • On the 3 episode OAV Magical Girl Pretty Sammy, Rica performed the 2nd ending theme "Ai no Makeikusa". This song ended episode #2.

    • Rica has voiced characters in various CD dramas including Takasugi Seiji in Da Garn Mysterious Tour, Sanada Rica in Sokkou Seitokai, Bikky in FAKE ~A Change of Partner, Kuroha Keiko in Tonde Buurin and Mule Moscow in Mahou Shoujo Fancy CoCo.

    • Along with the rest of her anime music group "JAM Project", Rica participated in a 24-hour performance marathon in which the group members sang excerpts from 1,000 different anime songs.

    • On the 4-episode OAV Ruin Explorers, Rica performed the opening theme, "Magical Beat!". This was also the ending theme of the last episode.

    • On May 31, 1997, Rica did a guest performance on the radio show called the "Anime Express". The song she performed was "From Me to You".

    • On the 17-track CD Man'youshuu Koro released on February 25, 1998, Rica performed the song "Mirenbutsu".

    • On the 1 episode OAV Fake, Rica performed the ending theme "Starlight Heaven".

    • Some of Rica's favorite colors are black, white, and red.

    • Rica performed the Japanese opening theme to Pokémon called "Mezase Pokémon Master". When put on CD, this single sold more than 1.85 million copies in Japan.

    • On August 15, 1995, Rica made a special guest apearance and cooked omelettes during the "Yuushoku Banzai" segment of the show Dou Natteruno?! This segment of the show was a 7 minute cooking demonstration. Between the dates of August 14-17, 1995, the cooking guests were seiyuu.

    • Rica Matsumoto is employed under the music label, Sun Music Productions.

    • In 1998, Rica made her seiyuu debut voicing Chyoromatsu in the anime Osomatsu-kun, also known as Little Osomatsu.
