Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Chevolleau was raised in Toronto, where he experimented with acting early in his schooling. Following high school, he studied the Meisner Technique under Paul Bardier and later trained at the Maggie Bassett Studio. He has also developed a wide variety of physical skills as diverse as boxing and juggling.
