I have always wanted to meet RDA but have never had the opportunity.....I was wondering if anyone else has ever had the chance to meet him?.....If so what were your experiences and impressions of him?

Oh, I didn't meet him. Though I wish I could!! That'd be the first star I'd like to meet, seriously!

I have twice, once in California and then again by happenstance in Canada, he's extremely gracious and funny. He talks a great deal about his rivers project, his daughter and of course stargate. As I've said in a review he looks you in the eye when he talks to you, his hand shake is firm not like some stars that don't really want to be shaking your hand. He honestly appreciates his fans and knows what they do for him and his career as well as his charities. I hope someday your able to meet him, and when you do don't worry about being a babbling fan cause my first time I was, made an ass of myself but he laughed. The second time I was much more relaxed knowing how gracious he is.

That is nice to hear and everything I have heard about him says the same thing.....and I'm sure if I were to meet him I'd be the one too dumbstruck to know what to say......

He is my top favorite actor and if I had to choose one actor to meet it would be Richard Dean Anderson. I've seen every episode of MacGyver and Stargate SG-1. I'm a little jealous to hear that you've met him twice. I'd be happy with meeting him once and getting an autograph. Even if I did meet him I probably wouldn't know what to say.

I met him about 14 years ago. It was in Lake Louise, Canada. I was 6 years old and was practicing skiing. He was doing some function and when I saw him I went right up to him and said "Hey! You're Macgyver. You are so cool!" He was awesome. He laughed and asked me what my name was. Let's just say it wasn't the most intellectual conversation, I was six after all. It only lasted a minute, my dad took my away and said not pester him. RDA gave me a one arm over my shoulder hug thing and I have been in love with him ever since haha. The only kid to have a poster of a 40 something year old on their wall when they were 7 haha.
