    • Ricki-Lee: (about her new song, Hear No, See No, Speak No) Its all very tasteful and elegant and the shots are beautiful. It's beautiful imagery, but I think if it was sleazy and gratuitous I wouldn't have done it.
    • Ricki-Lee: (announcing her intention to leave "The Young Divas") I will not be appearing any more with the Young Divas. I just couldn't do it all - I really had to get back to doing what I love doing, and that's my solo career. The girl's have been great, they understand completely. They know where I'm coming from.
    • Ricki-Lee: (on why curves are fabulous) My boyfriend loves my curves, especially my bum! He makes me feel sexy. Those skinny little sticks… what can you do with them? There's nothing to hold on to!
    • Ricki-Lee: (on setting an example for fans) On my fan forum, one person wrote, 'Ricki should lose weight or her career's going to be over'. But there are too many people in this world that are suffering from eating disorders. I've got heaps of little cousins, nieces and nephews. If one of them became anorexic or bulimic because they saw me doing it, that would be the end of it for me. Women stop me on the street to tell me they can relate to me because 'm normal. People say they like me because I promote a healthy body image and I don't car about being a little size 6. I'm really proud of that.
    • Ricki-Lee: (on surgery) There are so many tricks of the trade, you don't need surgery. If we're wearing tight tops, we wear tummy suckers (knickers) underneath. It keeps everything in and smooths all the bumps out.
    • Ricki-Lee: (on the pressure to be thin) I'm conscious of what I look like in comparison to other people. But I've honestly never felt I have to go on a crazy diet or become bulimic to get down to a size 6. I'm almost 6 foot tall, I'll never be a size 10 - it's just the way I am. I'll go to the gym to keep healthy but not to keep to any standards that society tells me I have to.
    • Ricki-Lee: I just want to be happy doing what I do - whether it's singing in a pub on the Gold coast to people who don't really care, or to massive audiences at Wembley Stadium in London or Madison Square Garden in New York. The day I stop enjoying it, I'm going to sit back and pop out a few kids.
    • Ricki-Lee: (on The Young Divas) We don't really claim to be divas... We're really playing tribute to the women who made us what we are.
