Rob was a guest of honor at Anthrocon in 2007.

Rob was married once to Carol Anne Schnarr, but they divorced and is now married to Parish Todd.

Rob has a son named Ashton born on September 10, 1984.

Rob Paulsen was nominated for an Annie Award in 2006 in the Best Voice Acting in an Animated Television Production category for his work as Eubie on The Happy Elf.

Paulsen has been a supporter of children's charity organizations for many years and has made considerable donations to cancer research. He has worked for GOALmodels, a high school program to inspire adolescents, and is also a sponsor of Camp Will-A-Way, a camp for mentally and physically disabled children.

Rob Paulsen's voice work on commercials includes promos for Cheers and Buffalo Duck's Radio Ranch as well as major campaigns for Honda, GMAC Mortgage, Advantix, and the National Milk Processor Board. His most famous advertising role was the announcer in the original "Got Milk?" spot "Who Shot Alexander Hamilton?" that first aired in 1993.

Rob Paulsen is the off-camera voice of Funniest Pets and People, the syndicated series shown on Superstation WGN as well as other television stations throughout the U.S. and internationally.

At one time Rob wanted to play professional hockey and his hero is Detroit Red Wings player Gordie Howe.

Rob Paulsen has appeared in many video games such as Doom 3, Clay Fighter 63 1/3, Planescape: Torment and Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes. He also voiced Crash Bandicoot in many games for Nintendo GameCube, Sony PlayStation 2, and Microsoft Xbox platforms. He portrayed Tobli and Lian Ronso in the English version of Square Enix's Final Fantasy X-2 and was the lead character in Bubsy. Paulsen also provided the voices for the Greek soldiers in God of War and Eric in the video game Kingdom Hearts II.

Among Rob Paulsen's favorites are Aaron Carter, A.J. Cook, and Jim Carrey. His favorite movie is Sky High and he enjoys painting as a hobby.
