    • In 1977, Robert was nominated for a David Award at the David di Donatello Awards in the category of Best Foreign Film (Miglior Film Straniero) for his 1976 film Marathon Man.

    • Robert has declined offers to produce then future blockbusters Airport (1970), The French Connection (1971), and Jaws (1975).
