Robert Horry

Robert: She's good. At first a lot of guys challenged her on calls, like 'Come on,' but she stood up for herself. That says a lot about her. Guys respect her. ... She doesn't back down from anybody.

Robert: People will be talking a lot about it. We swept, so they're going to say we didn't have as much competition. But it's hard to get to this point. We had the most dominant player to play the game. Nobody can stop Shaq , so people will compare the two, but I don't think even if we played the [old] Bulls they could have stopped Shaq.

Robert: There are a lot of people who don?t have the ability to walk down the street, ... I?m just glad God gave me the ability to walk down the street, [let alone] make shots.

Robert: We like that. There's not one guy on this team who loves the spotlight. So it's fine. We like it that way just fine.

Robert: Oh, look at this right here, maybe I should put this one up and win this game!

Robert: We have some good moments and some bad moments, but it's not like we are playing bad. We missed Tony tonight but we played well tonight when we had to.

Robert: You have a lot of guys who came back after injuries like that, they're good but they're not as good as when they left.

Robert: I came back with an I-don't-care attitude. If I had an open shot, I was taking it. I think that helped me.

Robert: I think it's time for me to remind some of these young guys that the league pays a bonus for best record. Money's still a nice motivation, you know.

Robert: I told some of the coaches at practice the other day that my biggest pet peeve is when, as soon as the other team goes small, it seems like you've got to change (the lineup). Give your big guys a chance first.

Robert: He makes those all the time in practice, just throwing them up. He's a special individual.

Robert: I hadn't seen the spin move in a long time, and he brought that out. He looked really good. I hope he can maintain it.

Robert: More days off helps me out more now than in the past. Then I wanted to practice so I could keep everything working, mechanically and skills-wise. Now I really like the days off. But we needed to work on some things, especially our rebounding and boxing out. So it was good to get back to work.

Robert: When you burn a bridge sometimes -- it doesn't matter if it's a significant player on a team, especially a significant player like Kobe -- you might say let bygones be bygones, (but) there's always that underlying, 'Oh, you talked about me,' Me personally, I don't think it'll work out. But who knows? Crazier things have happened..

Robert: You have to get into the right mind-set. It took me forever when I first started coming off the bench. You have to learn how to stay loose and stay warm. It was tough for me at first. You become used to it. Just like old hat after a while.

Robert: Nothing against Tony, but there's other guys playing great. Tracy has to be there. It's in Houston. And then you got Kobe and Ray Allen. He's just got some stiff competition.

Robert: We know they've changed and their offense has a whole new look to it. With us, we're the same. They'll know all our plays. But we'll be out there looking at them and saying, what's that they're doing here? What's this play? Why are they doing that? That's a big challenge.

Robert: Records are always going to be broken; I'm sure someone wanted to see him catch Wilt.

Robert: It really hurts when you get some questionable calls down the stretch.

Robert: Pressure can burst a pipe or pressure can make a diamond.
