Robert Klein began his comedic career when he joined Second City improv troupe in 1965. From there Robert received his first Broadway role in the play Apple Tree which led to further roles on stage. Films and television weren't far behind with his role as Barney in the 1970 film The Owl and the Pussycat he was well on his way. On television he hosted the summer replacement show Comedy Tonight. Robert's career was so busy doing stand-up shows, televison programs, films and recordings. In 1979 Robert was nominated for a TONY award for his performance in theMore Broadway play They're Playing Our Song. Some of the comedy TV series' Robert has starred in are Frasier, Mad About You, Grace Under Fire and The King of Queens. He also appeared in his own series Sisters in 1993 and The Stones in 2004.
