Rod Luire was born in Israel on May 15th 1962. At a young age his family moved to the U.S. where they lived in Greenwich, Connecticut and Honolulu, Hawaii. In 1984 he graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and served in the army for four years. After the army he began a carrer as an entertainment reporter and movie critic. He currently lives in Pasadena, California with his wife, Gretchen, and two kids, Hunter and Paige.
