Rose McGowan

Born on September 5th, 1973 in Florence, Italy, to a French mother and an Irish father, Rose McGowan is possibly best known for the her role as Paige Matthews in the television series "Charmed" Rose joined the show at the beginning of Season Four after the departure of Shannen Doherty at the end of the third season. Rose's character, Paige Matthews, turned out to be the half sister of the Halliwell sisters; the result of an affair between their mother, Patty, and her Whitelighter, Sam.



Although stepping in to replace such a well known actress as Shannen Doherty, Rose soon had legions of fans of her own. As the youngest, most inexperienced Halliwell witch, Paige had her share of problems, but McGowan played her with a warmth, sincerity and at times child-like innocence which only served to increase her popularity with the show's fans.



Rose has also been in the public eye as the former fiance of singer Marilyn Manson and because of stories of alleged drug abuse and her family's involvement in a religious cult known as The Children Of God. Rose has constantly denied the rumors of drug use and ended her realtionship with Manson in 2001 reportedly due to having become disillusioned by the lifestyle of the rocker. A fine singer herself, Rose treated "Charmed" fans to a rendition of 'Fever' during her time on the show.



Rose has also had roles in films such as "Scream" (1996)and "Planet Terror" (2007) and is well regarded by directors and producers in Hollywood.

rose is so talented at what ever project she does whether it is comedy, horror or even action. she gets into the character which helps her give an even better performance. she has done so well with her career after starting out in The Doom Generation. Rose has got such a great feel to her that keeps her getting parts in movies. She always gives 110% in all of her performances which what can i see she pulls it off very well. i just hope that rose keeps get more and more roles that will suit her well, but no matter what the role is rose always pulls it off.

At first, when McGowan came to be on the cast of Charmed, i was mad, because i loved Prue, and thought that Shannen was fantastic. Then some of my fears, became reality during the fourth season, when McGowan gave a decent, but not nearly as well as Doherty. I was still a little angry. But then the fifth season, sixth, seventh, and eighth seasons really showed how talented this actress was. I was completely blown away, and was in a way, glad that Prue was killed off, and that we had Paige to accept. Rose McGowan is very talented and im looking forward to some more of her work.

Rose McGowan is just being herself, and that's why I think lots of people like her. She's a beautiful person, who follows the beat of her own drum. I loved her in Jawbreaker, she makes a great villain, but I think most people got to know her more in Charmed as Paige. I think they said they actually made the character for her, so that's why they relate a bit, if not a lot. I love her voice, as well. It's beautiful! She has this song with BT called Superfabulous, that you can hear on youtube. That's one of my top three fav songs of all time. If your gonna listen to it, I think they have like two Charmed videos, choose the 4 minute one, because it has the strange conversation as well. I think she was also inspired by her Charmed experience with the song. She also did a few songs for the double feature Grindhouse soundtrack, and you can hear her sing Fever in Season 5 of Charmed in the episode Sense and Sense Ability. I think all of the Charmed stars have sang at least once. Holly in an episode of Picket Fences (the first episdoe I think), Shannen has this song on youtube as well called Stop, and we all know Alyssa has sang before, if they haven't erased it, she has a song called New Sensation that someone used for a video of Charmed. Anyway, Rose is a very beautiful, and very talented unique person. Colorful, I guess, would be the word to describe her. I love colorful people!

So great in the screen that I will go to see her next film just to see her!!! She's so natural and original!

She is so young and she is already a big actress that will be forever in the future of filming! The saddest part gets high in her eyes! She knows how to do the scenes so painful! She knows how to cry aswell! The scenes with strengh get perfect in her way!



But I love so much her style: So natural, it's like see a real person. She throw away all the "I'm-real-serious,I-Can't-Smile" thing! And knows how to make everyone smile! (Specially with that strange thing that she does when she smiles!! She is so lovely!)



But... i have to say something more... I hate seeing you die in scream! (Now I get I trauma!) Xd It was like... "Don't, don't" "NO! She's gonna..." "auch!!!" It was horrible see that: Don't Do It Again!! Xd



I will admire her always!

Rose McGowen is eminent for her role as Paige Matthews on the hit series Charmed. She was probably my favorite of the sisters. She is so pretty and she delivered her lines perfectly in the show. I loved the character she turned Paige Matthews into. Rose is also extremely pretty. I love the way her dark hair, light and clear, complextion, and her dark lipstick contrast. It makes her so pretty. She has her own unique style and goes with it instead of trying to have that cliched look so many women in Hollywood have. She's had a good number of credits, and she's still pretty young, so I hope I get to see more of Rose McGowan in the future!

I don't like her! It's that simple...I really think she's very annoying and a little bit spoiled!

I don't like how she looks and let's not talk about her personality...she is just not my tipe of actor!

I've seen some movies with her and every single one was bad.

So, that means that she doesn't annoy me just because of her role in Charmed. I really can't stand Paige. Nothing about her. She is dressing so weird...and all her hairstyles.

I simply don't like her. None of them...I mean neither Paige or Rose.

It's just my opinion, so don't get all irritated!

Rose is by far my favourite from charmed and an awesome actress she has a great sense of humour and a great taste in music.



In her role as paige matthews on charmed, Rose added humour and sarcasm to the role and always had great lines that made me giggle.Although shannon doherty was great Rose added something that was missing to the show that gave it a whole new dynamic and made it even more joyful to watch.



On all the interviews i have seen of her she is always herself , laughing and upfront with people and it really shows in her acting ..



I remeber in an episode in season 8 were she was orbing out and did this random pose it was hilarious and just soo how i would imagine her to attack being in that situation herself always looking at the funny side of things..



A truly awesome actress...!

I saw her in "Charmed" than in "Black Dahlia". Very talanted, attractive woman. She has good voice so she can make a music career, why not..

She changed colours of her hair and very succesful. I like her red - very positive and wild colour! If she had dreamt to be a star she would have done more films in her actress life. But after "... Dahlia" I heard only of 2 films.

I love Rose and want to see her more!

Rose McGowan is one of the best actresses ever! She is beautiful and smart. She can make her character really good. She also has different sides of the characters she plays like in Charmed and Jawbreaker. Her characters she plays in Charmed and Jawbreaker are very different. I think she was better than Shannen Doherty when she took over in Charmed because Shannen got written out. She made the show more better, more fun and more interesting. It was really good how they wrote Rose into the show and good timing. She is my favorite actress and I hope to see her in more movies or T.V. shows.

Rose McGowan is so awesome! I love watching her in Charmed as Paige Mathews. She is absolutely charming! I love how she makes Charmed whole again! She is great as Paige and so great at working with Holly and Alyssa. I love how PAige's character is unique and has her own special way of doing things. Rose brings out the real Paige a lot and it's easy to see Rose's and Paige's personality's unfolding and opening up to everyone just how Rose acts on Charmed brings out her true character and I thinkit's so great to have confidence as high as hers! Rose has come along way and I thinks she's done very well in the acting buisness as far as Charmed goes!

I didn\\\'t even notice that Shannon was replaced by Rose. She jumped in the role and as if nothing changed or better yet, she made the show a lot enticing. Well, that\\\'s for me. I really love her. How do you get to meet such a great and beautiful person...in your dreams... :-D

Rose McGowan is so talented actress! She is also so beautifull! I know Rose from show 'Charmed', and from then I love her!!!! Like I sead, Rose is so talented, I like her act. She is also soooo original!!! I love her stilings! I love her more like red hair, she was cuter! Paige Matthews (Charmed) is one of my favourite characters in whole show. First is Piper! Rose is so hot, too! She is gorgeous!!!

Rose McGowan seems OK and is very beautiful. She acted in moive 'Jawbraker' 'Monkeybone' and so on...But, I liked her the most in the role of Page from 'Charmed' where she played the youngest, third (if we don't count Prue) sister. I hope I will soon see her in a bunch of new movies, now that she has the time since 'Charmed' is over! :D

Rose is one of the reasons why I still watch Charmed since shannen left the show, she have this natural talent, seems to be a great person too, she was the best thing that happend to Charmed , but unfortunately Shannen left and not alyssa, but anyway she is so talented and I really like her, she is amazing!

I have a lot of different favorite actresses but I must tell everyone who reads this review that Rose is simply the best actress that I could always find in my whole life. Rose is just fantastic, every time I watch one of her series I just get hook up with her because she is so fantastic acting and she is so great in Charmed, Charmed... without her in it I would have stop watching it, but she did really improve the series. I love, Rose! Rose is also one of the prettiest actress in the whole world, and she is simply fantastic the way she acts and moves and the way she has to do her things. I must say that Rose could be the only woman I will ever considered dating or kissing because she is so perfect, and I think that Rose is one of the best actresses I could even dream and if I will like to grow up like her or at least has someone to talk about her because she is so great. Well, now into the main thing is the fact that Rose has made a lot of really different projects, the ones I got as main was in "Charmed" and the little thing that she had on "Scream" because well she was perfect in both of them. I got to say that I was going to stop watching Charmed after I found out that it was Prue the one dying, but with Rose everything went better and better because she did such a great job as a beginner and as now professional. She is just great! I think that she is one of the best ever!

I won't say that Rose is all about acting, because she isn't. Rose McGowan is all about style and looks.



The difference between Rose with all the other actresses is not in her acting abilities, but in Rose looks. She's different and she wants to make that difference. She's crazy and she's wild, but she can also look sweet. That's why I like her, and maybe that's why so much people in the world like her.



I just hope she'll not be only recognized for her work as Paige in Charmed. Get her another great role soon, please.

I like Rose McGowan. I'm glad they got rid of Shannen Doherty and replaced her with Rose. You can tell Alyssa and Rose get along better than Shannen and Alyssa. I love her roll on Charmed. Rose McGowan is an absolutley brilliant actress. She has so many attributes that many actresses are losin these days, she is a classic beauty, her acting talent is as close to limitless as anyone will ever get, and so many more! Rose was Charming in Charmed, such an awesome devil in Devil in Flesh, nedd I make more stupid puns? Rose is one of those actresses who can really make you believe that everything is actually happening to her and that she is really there, in the middle of everything that goes on in a film or show. It takes talent to be a good actor/actress, it takes a gift to be great one, and it takes Rose to be the best! In almost every role she has played (I am yet to see them all, so I can't say all) she makes the whole production better because she's there. I can only hope that Rose will continue to get better and get offered more roles, because let's face it, if Rose is there, you know it'll be good.

Rose McGrowan is a great actoress I love her she played a big role in Charmed and her powers were great she could orb and the Charmed ones needed that after Prue died and she brought the family back togather after Prue died if she had not joined the sisters the family would be lost and the Charmed ones would have been gone but she was a great part of the family she brought them all togather and they are great actoresses I love them I wish they would have made more seasons well she is a great actoress even tho i love Prue and wish she wouldn't have quit but Rose was a great replacement!

Paige Matthews (Rose Mcgowan) is probably the best thing that has ever happened to Charmed. I hated Prue. Paige is a ton better. She is my favorite character on the set of Charmed. I did not know that she was born in Italy because she does not have an accent. I think that that is cool.

Along with her fellow Charmed actresses (Holly Marie Combs and Alyssa Milano) Rose is one of my favorite people to watch on TV. I think Rose is a really great actress. And I've never met her, but she seems like a really great person to.



My favorite thing to watch Rose on is Charmed, where she plays the role of Paige Matthews. Rose makes her character seem really real.



I love how Rose is a animal person. I personally love animals. I read that Rose has some dogs and they are actually like her best friends. I actually have two dogs myself. And I know what great companions they can be.

I think that rose mcgowen is a briliant actor and plays her role as Paige perfectly. she has made the show different in manny, manny ways (mostly good) i think that the show would never have been better without her.And if the show didnt have rose mcgowen playing Paige Matthews in it then it would loose alot of viewers and would not be as popular and go on for 8 seasons.

Rose is a very talented actress who is unique in her own way.

She doesnt follow the latest trends, she goes with what she likes and different to what everyone else has.

I have already wrote about Holly and Alyssa which were good comments so now im going to make a good comment on Rose. I think that charmed just wouldnt be charmed without the actress's they have. I have to admit that i miss Shannon (i dont blame Alyssa for it either)and im sad that she left but if she hadnt, we wouldnt get to met the other wonderfull charmed actress..... Rose McGowan!!!!!!!! I cant think of a bad comment to say about any of them and i would literally die for the chance to met them. their just so amasing. i mean how can you not like. iv read about people complaining of how Alyssa and Shannon fell out..... so what... and you say all your friendships are perfect. And of how they are all spoilt... Why are you complaining i mean, if i were an actor and i was very wealthy i would be just as spoilt as they are. Its kind of unfair the way people like that have to coplain about great actress's just because they are better than their childhood heroes.
