Ryan: (on his willingness to perform a dare) I'll do anything for $50. People are always trying to get me to do dumb things. The possibilities are endless.
Ryan has made it clear that his song "I Will Remember You" isn't about his ex-girlfriend Ashlee Simpson:
Ryan: Please remember that i have had more experiences in life than Ash. This song is about remembering someone or people who have had a huge influence in your life. It could be a time period of your life that you'll never forget. It's a song about being able to hold memories close and never forget those who influence you... It could be high schoool... College... Work or where ever you find that special person that has changed your life and made you in turn a better person.
Ryan: Hotness is uniqueness and just being yourself - that's hot.
Ryan Cabrera: [on the title of his sophomore album People will have their opinions of you and they don't even know what they're talking about--just because of the way you look or who you're friends with, which is why I named my album "You Stand Watching." There are people who are so judgmental. People are so opinionated about things, and they don't even know what they're talking about, or can't even do it themselves.
Ryan Cabrera: Sometimes you think, 'Do I really want the whole world to know how I feel?' But that's the only way to get through to another person.
Ryan Cabrera: I started playing guitar kind of by accident.
Ryan Cabrera: "True" was about falling in love with a person and wanting to know how they feel about you. You don't really know and you are kind of vulnerable. It's like, 'Do you want me or what?'
Ryan Cabrera: The song ('Take It All Away') is about how material possessions take over people and become their god. People start to lose a sense of reality because no matter how much they have, it isn't good enough. Sometimes the most happy people in life are the ones with nothing. We can't lose sight of the little things in life that should make us the happiest.
Ryan Cabrera: But if you really want to do it (become a pop star), you've got to give it a shot at least. And eventually God will lead you to what you're meant to do.
