SALLY's father was BOBBY HOWES, star of many British screen musicals in the 1930's. In the 1940's she began her career as a child actor and gradually played adult leads on stage, screen and TV, both in the U.S. and Britain. One of her best known roles was that of TRULY SCRUMPTIOUS in the delightful family movie, CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG (1968).
