Mitch takes the case of condemned murderer Jim Thorne, scheduled to be executed in three days, who wants to offer his heart to the teenage daughter of the man he murdered. The girl has but a short time to live and Thorne wants at least one good thing to come from his life.
Meanwhile, Tammy and Abby interview relatives of deceased Noble Insurance clients, individuals whose case numbers are on the Moxon list, and Tammy's unexpected news of an inheritance causes friction between her and Ray. Ray also meets with Sarah Holt's ex-husband, who tells him Sarah was an Army medic who saved hundreds of lives.
