Sara participated in the 2011 American Ninja Warrior try-outs. She failed to pass even the first obstacle.

Sara is afriad of spiders.

Sara woorked for the Hooters restaurant chain in Beaverton, Oregon.

Sara had some small roles in films such as Miss March, The House Bunny and Epic Movie.

Sara graduated from Scappoose High School, Scappoose, OR in 2002.

Sara discovered model Ida Ljungqvist, who wasat the timeworking at a Bebe clothing boutique. Ida went on to become the Playmate of the Year in 2008, the year after Sara was the Playmate of the Year.

In 2007, students at Oregan State University put up a banner to celebrate the acheivement of alumni Sara Underwood being the 2007 Playmate of the Year. It was done in part to show how the university will showcase morally acceptable success of alumni but not those that might offend some. The banner was taken down shortly after being put up.

On her first modeling spread with Playboy, Sara wanted tohave her highschool friend's , Derek Anderson, jersey number painted on her. His number was 14 which the photographer said would be too big for Sara's body and they went with the number 7.

Sara was featured on a Victory Poker advertising campaign, later she was offered a spot on their poker team.

Sara graduated from Oregon State University in 2002.

Sara was Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Year for 2007.
