Sara Rue

Sara is #44 in AIM's "50 Hottest Redheads."

Sara's father is Marc Rue, a stage manager and her mother is Joan Schlackman Rue, a municipal employee and former actress.

When Sara appeared on Celebrity Poker Showdown in 2004, she played for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation as her charity organization.

Sara Rue has secret crushes on people who have a vast knowledge of poker. She admits to having a crush on poker expert Phil Gordon.

Sara won a Special Jury Prize at the 2004 Indianapolis International Film Festival for her performance in A Slipping Down Life. She shared the honor with Lili Taylor.

Sara is five feet and seven inches tall.

Sara attended the Professional Children's School in New York, New York.

Sara filed for divorce from her husband since 2001, Mischa Livingston, in November 2007. The couple has no children.

In 2006, she starred in the stage musical Little Egypt with French Stewart, Jenny O'Hara, and Gregg Henry at The Matrix Theatre in West Hollywood, Los Angeles, California.

Sara appeared in the movies This Time Around (2003), Passed Away (1992), Barbara Jean (2005), Danny Roane: First Time Director (2006), and Idiocracy (2006).

She has appeared in several films (A Map of the World, Can't Hardly Wait, A Slipping Down Life, Gypsy 83 and had a bit part as a babysitter in Gore Verbinski's adaptation of The Ring), and so impressed director Michael Bay that a role was written in into the movie Pearl Harbor for her.

She is an avid poker player and has had weekly poker games since she was 18.

Sara has two dogs named Lil Bisquit and Bucket and two cats, Orange Popsicle #5 (AKA Pop) and The Kraken.

She was taught how to juggle by Glenn Close.

She was taught how to drive by That 70's Show actress, Debra Jo Rupp.

Sara collects and plays vintage guitars.
