Sarah: (About In America where she co-stars with her sister Emma)My sister Emma got the audition first and then I came along and Jim Sheridan saw me and hired me, so I didn't think about it. And I certainly didn't think that In America would be a film that people would really like, but they did. When you do a film, you don't realize that it goes this far, that you get to come out to L.A. and all that stuff. It was amazing. It was my first taste of this, and I suppose that's what got me hooked.

Sarah: (About doing different accents)I practice the English accent and the American accent because it's nice to be prepared. If it's an American movie and you can audition in an American accent, it takes that air of doubt away.

Sarah: (About how she avoids the the pitfalls other young actresses haven't) I do think that living in Dublin takes that edge off. There's no parties, no clubs to go to that would be publicized or interesting enough to be written about, so I don't think we have that problem here. But I do truly believe that if you're surrounded by good people, you'll have a good career.
