Sarah: (on trying to meet Giant's QB Eli Manning on The Late Show) No, his security wouldn't let me near him. It was weird. I was trying. I was like, "No really, I'm just a big fan." I think that's where I went wrong. "I just want an autograph and a lock of his hair!" But they said "no." Awkward.
Sarah: I was in Tokyo for my birthday this year and it was kind of sad because Freddie was working. And it was just a small group of us, and we all decided to sort of rent out this tattoo parlor and get tattoos by this amazing guy... It's on my left ankle. And it's a cherry blossom, which is obviously very specific to Tokyo. And, um, a little something private. In Katakana. Which is one of the Japanese alphabets.
Sarah: (on which of her two characters from Ringer she likes best) I look a lot like both of them, so that's handy. What I love about the show is the duality of all of the characters and the idea that we all have a good side and a bad side. I'm not necessarily more like either one of the characters because, in their motivations, they both feel incredibly justified, but Siobhan has the better wardrobe.
Sarah: (on her relationship with her daughter) Like in any other relationship, you have to remember who you are through all this. After she goes to bed at 7:30, I might take a bath or read. And Freddie and I get our time together, too. Relationships are like flowers: They need attention to grow and develop.
Sarah: Work doesn't define who I am. I love what I do, but I don't feel a burning pressure anymore. And because I'm working for fun, I get to enjoy it. I'd watch Ringer if I wasn't on it!

Sarah: (On auditioning for the role of Buffy) I probably had eleven auditions and four tests. It was the most awful experience of my life, but I was so driven. I had read the script and heard about Joss Whedon and how wonderful he was.
Sarah: (on the days off from filming "The Grudge" in Japan) I did a lot of shopping. Actually, I had my birthday at Tokyo Disneyland. It was amazing - odd and surreal. Then a bunch of my friends and I rented out a tattoo parlor and we all got tattoos.
Sarah: (on how her life was when "Buffy" ended) I took a break for about six months because you get to that place where you have to figure out what do you do when you don't work all the time. The first couple of weeks I didn't really know what to do with my time.
