Trivia and Quotes

  • Quotes

    • Sasha: Stage work, that's all I have in my background. Wasteland was my first TV experience. Dawson's was my first long-term, I mean the entire season of 22 episodes.

    • Sasha: When I graduated college I needed to make money while I was pursuing acting, so I read screenplays and made a living writing coverage on them for studios.

    • Sasha: I still feel like I have a lot of growing up to do 'til I find the voice. Everybody has their own voice and their own thing they want to say to the world.

    • Sasha: I just saw the movie for the first time in its entirely last night. It's really cool when you're in with an audience that's so tuned in and plugged in to what's going on.

    • Sasha: When you read a script, you get a feeling from it.

    • Sasha: I prefer film and that's what I think I'm gonna put my focus on.

    • Sasha: I just don't want to end up on something that bores the hell out of me. Otherwise, I'll fake a knee injury and get out of there.

    • Sasha: I entered into Dawson's Creek to do a couple of episodes. They weren't sure about my role in the beginning, but then the chemistry kind of worked.

    • Sasha: I actually wanted to be an exotic dancer, but that didn't work out so I thought I'd take on acting.

    • Sasha: My husband's a director, so he understands what I do.

    • Sasha: My husband's a director, so he understands what I do.

    • Sasha: Hollywood looks to these young people now to say something to the world. I have nothing against that, I think a lot of people have things to say. But I think you need life experience.

    • Sasha: My parents wanted me to go to law school.

    • Sasha: I always say if you've seen good acting on television, those actors are really good. Because there's just not enough time. You don't have any preparation.

    • Sasha: I really love the process, with stage, of rehearsal, you get to create a character, and you have a beginning, a middle, and an end of story. And in television, you don't.

    • Sasha: I'm going to tell stories to the world. I think there's time for me to grow. We'll see.

    • Sasha: I believe life takes us where we need to be.

    • Sasha: I love to go out. I love the outdoors. I love outdoor sports. I'm a big traveler.

    • Sasha: I still feel like I have a lot of growing up to do 'til I find the voice. Everybody has their own voice and their own thing they want to say to the world.

    • Sasha: (on dating a co-star) That is so impossible! (laughs) Um, sure, you know what, if you're off on some tropical island shooting a movie and you're gonna be done with that forever, maybe. But when you're on a television series you could potentially be on for years, it's the absolute worst idea. I mean, I think my co-stars are hot... but you know that would be the most ridiculous thing ever. It's just a really bad idea. We tease Michael about his past endeavors, too. Because it's just a bad idea.

    • Sasha: I believe life takes us where we need to be.

    • Sasha: I'm not going to rush into another show unless it's really something I feel special about, like really attracted to.

    • Sasha: I think we find a little bit of ourselves in every role we do.

    • Sasha: We're often attracted to people who are opposite ourselves because they have qualities we want and vice versa.

    • Sasha: I just don't want to end up on something that bores the hell out of me. Otherwise I'll fake a knee injury and get out of there.

    • Sasha: (on her personal life) Yeah. I mean, gosh, personal life, please. Mark (Harmon) is married, but Michael and I just laugh. There are points where we were like, 'Oh my God, we have no life.' But then you learn to adjust around that and you learn to make it work, and hopefully we'll meet somebody who's supportive enough and who gets it.

    • Sasha: (on her typical day when filming NCIS) Well, yesterday was Monday and I started my day at 4:30 in the morning. I had to be at work at 5:30 a.m., and I got home at midnight. But that's not typical. That was a brutal day. Today I started at 10 a.m., and I'll be here till about midnight.

    • Sasha: (on her character on NCIS) The only lart that I think is like Kate is some of the banter that I do with Mark and Michael. I think I have a sense of humor, but I can tend to have a dry sensibility, and I'll come back with quick things, so a lot of that banter that happens between us, I don't think that fast, but that kind of sense of humor is the only thing I share with her. Other than that, I don't know. I like her wardrobe.

    • Sasha: (on the pop group Everything Nice) We were like five Britney Spearses.

    • Sasha: The biggest thing out of it all is that I always say if you've seen good acting on television, those actors are really good. Because there's just not enough time. You don't have any preparation.

    • Sasha: Actually my parents wanted me to go to law school. I actually wanted to be an exotic dancer, but that didn't work out so I thought I'd take on acting.

    • Sasha: I went to film school at USC for directing and I graduated wanting to make movies. I acted when I was younger, mostly stage, but when I got to college I really wanted to expand my knowledge of filmmaking and I just loved movies.

    • Sasha: I love to go out. I love the outdoors. I love outdoor sports. I'm a big traveler.

    • Sasha: (on the shocking season finale of NCIS) I am happy that people have responded to Kate and like her as much as I do. I am not allowed to comment on the season finale of NCIS at this time but will do so as soon as I can. Thank you all for watching and supporting me always.

I like her as Pacey's older sister in Dawson's Creek

She's a very talented actress. I first saw her on Rizzoli & Isles and immediately fell in love with her social clumsyness (I already loved the series Bones, he he). Just a few months ago I started to watch the first season of NCIS, without even knowing she would be in it. And it's amazing to see her play those two completely different roles, with completely different appearances: almost unrecognisable. Amazing!moreless
